Nightmare

A dream that I had, had such a gory scene
They wanted to tear me apart, so obscene
I wanted to cry and I wanted to scream
Thank God it was only just a dream

It started off as a day of summer, quite warm
Till a group men confronted me, wanted to harm
Treated me like a lamb of sacrifice from a farm
Pinned me down and started to saw off my arm

Thankfully my arm wasn’t torn apart or chewed up
The venom from their curses was highly spewed up
Couldn’t distinguish harm, wasn’t shrewd up
It was cut apart, and then it was sewed up

I hope these dreams don’t fall upon you
It chills your spines, they seem so true
Hard enough to swallow, you can’t even chew
This wasn’t the first one, I’ve had had few
