The excitement cannot be described with words.
Ineffable feelings that were once absurd.
These are the feelings normality has heard.
But I ask, what is freedom to a flightless bird?

Almost a quarter of a century I have endured.
Envisioned life as a king with a mind that's poor.
There is little joy that I still can soar.
Fly free and live, but that I can't assure.

I have lived a fair share, years to come are a lot.
Still, a little teen trapped in his thoughts.
